Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is pricing himself out of a move to Manchester City. The Daily Star Sunday says Ancelotti and City are "millions of pounds apart" in their assessment of what The Etihad manager's job should pay.
Ancelotti, 55, aims to remain in charge of Real and if he loses his job, would want the sort of salary he has at The Bernabeu - £7.1million a year.
Under-fire Pellegrini is on £3.4m at City.
An Italian football source told the Daily Star Sunday: "Ancelotti has been sounded out about the City job by a third party.
"But he thinks the salary being talked about is not enough."
