Alvaro Morata is happy Atletico Madrid's players are back in training this week.
The Spaniard and the rest of his teammates went to the club's facilities on Wednesday to take the relevant coronavirus tests, and he made clear that he is happy to be back with his teammates, even if it was only for a few minutes.
"It is not the same without my teammates; it is not the same to train alone than with them," Morata said.
"You miss everything, but just getting up and coming for five minutes is special.
"This also serves to highlight the position we're in, the good atmosphere we have here and to see that this is a family."
Although the whole team will not yet be able to train at once, Morata believes that even training individually at Atletico's facilities is a step in the right direction.
"We all want to train very much, either individually or as a group," he added.
"You have to accept the rules and do everything possible to make sure there is as little risk as possible.
"But being here already means that we are much closer [to football returning] and this is very important."
