Roma coach Luciano Spalletti admits wing-back Edgar Alvarez is playing his way into their plans for the new season.

The Honduras international has been linked with a move away this summer, but was outstanding against Al Ahly yesterday and Spalletti said: "He has great speed and inspiration. He is one of the strongest players in one against one situations that we have."
