Jozy Altidore scored a hat-trick on the weekend as AZ Alkmaar defeated Vitesse Arnhem 4-1 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The 23-year old American striker opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a stooping header before adding a second just after the hour-mark with another off the head.
He completed his treble with just over 10 minutes remaining when he controlled on his chest before firing home to wrap up the points with Roy Beerens also on the scoresheet and Chelsea loanee Gael Kakuta pulling one back late for Vitesse.
Altidore has now scored 14 goals in 18 appearances for AZ this campaign following his 2011 shift from Spanish side Villarreal.
