Almeria winger Albert Crusat says Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane changed the course of his career as a youngster.
At 20, Crusat was a promising midfielder playing for Juande Ramos' Espanyol and he recalls: "At one corner, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane fell on me, fracturing my collarbone.
"The injury changed the course of my career. Juande Ramos wanted me as a starter, like at the Bernabeu, but when I came back from injury, his replacement Javier Clemente said he was not counting on me."
Crusat has since rebuilt his career at Almeria, where he was outstanding last season.
