Almeria coach Guti says former Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas will make a good Spanish Football Federation president.

Casillas has announced he is standing for the RFEF election.

"Casillas will do everything possible because he loves football and our country," Guti explained in an interview with ACL Radio.

"I can't vote for Casillas, but he can bring his wisdom and peace of mind.

"It's a responsibility and a position for which I think he is qualified because he has played a lot of football for Spain, and he would be a good figurehead, not only in Spain, but throughout the world."
