Modeste M'Bami could be rushed in by Almeria coach Hugo Sanchez for their clash at Barcelona.

The former Marseille midfielder rejected terms offered by Wigan Athletic to sign an initial 12-month deal with Almeria this week.

Sanchez said: "It is difficult to come up with a game plan against Barcelona, but not impossible - Espanyol surprised them with a special plan last season and that's a good reference point for us."
