DC United striker Danny Allsopp is not getting carried away after he scored the winner against Colorado Rapids on the weekend.
The Australian forward hit the back of the net just before half-time at Dick's Sporting Goods Park to guide his side to a 1-0 win but did not celebrate with much vigour as the club remains at the foot of MLS.
"With the way this season has gone and everything, it was nothing to really get too excited about," he said "It was 1-0 and we still had a long time in the game to go. I didn't feel like getting too carried away."
But the former Melbourne Victory man did admit it was a great feeling to grab three points and get some joy out of a very difficult season.
"We're all really pleased. We came over here and we fought hard and we deserved three points," he added. "I've heard that we haven't had a win out here for a long time or something like that. Not many teams come here and win, so it's pleasing to come out and get a result."
