AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri rapped his players after their narrow 2-1 win over Bologna.
The Rossoneri were leading 2-0 with a Giampaolo Pazzini brace, but the Philippe Mexes own goal kept the 2-1 result in the balance.
"The club thinks about the transfer market and I am in sync with them, but obviously I am not the one who is in control of these matters," said the Coach.
"Today the team played well, above all in terms of technique after we raised the intensity level. Clearly we've got to finish off games, instead we risked throwing it away at the end.
"We can only grow by playing and learning. We've got to improve, as we cannot dominate a match to this degree only to risk compromising it with moments of naiveté. It would've been tough to swallow a draw this afternoon."
