Massimiliano Allegri insists his future is with Cagliari.
"I started seriously thinking about a coaching career at the age of 30 when I was playing for Perugia," Allegri told the Guerin Sportivo.
"I learned a lot from Giovanni Trapattoni, Oscar Tabarez, Bruno Giorgi, Luigi De Canio and Beppe Pillon, but my reference point in Giovanni Galeone, who coached me for six years.
"Because of him I understand the simplicity and the clarity needed to teach football.
"I am grateful to Massimo Cellino for giving me the chance to lead Cagliari and for keeping faith in me even after five opening defeats.
"Now I just want to keep moving forward in this post and I hope to stay here for a long time."
