Allegri insists he is happy with AC Milan squad

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri insists he'd be happy to go with what he has into the new season.

Allegri feels Milan's squad is "complete".

"We start the new season in the best possible way, as the club provided me with three new buys plus Alberto Paloschi," said the Coach as pre-season training kicked off yesterday.

"Last season I changed the team quite a lot due to injuries, as we ended the campaign with Kevin-Prince Boateng as trequartista after Robinho had taken that role.

"We have many versatile figures who allow us to have different options. Right now the squad is complete, I'm happy with the players at my disposal and now we can only focus on doing well."

Philippe Mexes, Taiye Taiwo, Stephan El-Shaarawy and Alberto Paloschi have joined the Rossoneri this summer.

"We start this season with an advantage, as we know the four new players in the side when beginning training," continued Allegri.

"We have to start with the same motivation and hunger as last year. It's difficult to say who will be Milan's main antagonist, but I think Inter are the joint favourites for the Scudetto, followed by Napoli, Juventus and Roma."
