Allegri demands instant improvement from AC Milan

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri admits they need immediate improvement.

Preparing to welcome struggling Genoa to San Siro on Wednesday night, Allegri has admitted that the team must make a change.

"The last performance fell short. We have also made technical errors recently," said Allegri.

"It is true that we are not as bright as a month ago, but there should be no excuses. Against Bologna we became a little disunited after they scored. We need to limit our mistakes, we must improve and be more skilled as a team.

"We are Milan, we are three points behind, Juventus are favoured now, however, there are five games still to play and we have to think about coming back to win the Scudetto.

"We still have targets, we must do our best for the League title and to earn more points than we did last season.

"Reasons for this decline? The injuries, other setbacks, some decisions that have penalised us. There are many things we will add to that at the end of the season."
