West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has spoken to England coach Roy Hodgson about two of his players.
The Mail on Sunday says Allardyce has recommended that James Tomkins can help solve England's problems at centre half and has also told Hodgson he should pick Mark Noble to add energy to his midfield.
Allardyce said on Friday: "Roy should look at James.
"He has really matured and is playing very well and consistently."
