Everton were beaten heavily last time out against Arsenal and boss Sam Allardyce knows they have to recover from that.

"The lads have accepted we were not able to compete but in reality an Arsenal team as good as that punishes a lot of team on their own soil and we found that difficult to cope with in the first half.

"There was a spirited recovery in the second half but it was one we have to react to in the right way. Our away form has to improve - that's not just since I've arrived."
