New Zealand striker Rory Fallon was dismissed in the final minutes of Aberdeen's 2-1 defeat to Scottish Premier League leaders Rangers on Sunday. Tenth placed Aberdeen had pulled back a goal in the 82nd minute, but nine minutes later Fallon was sent off for an elbow in the face of Rangers' Romanian centre back Doran Goian.
Aberdeen boss Craig Brown says the club is looking at appealing the decision.
"There's absolutely no way it was deliberate," he said.
