Algerian youngster Ramy Bensebaini featured for Arsenal in their 5-1 thrashing by Colchester United.
The 18-year-old central defender, who plays in Algeria for Paradou AC, came close to signing for Porto earlier this summer.
Paradou's successful academy side is run by Frenchman Jean-Marc Guillou, who previously helped Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure reach the Gunners.
