Alex Tettey apologises to Norwich supporters

Alex Tettey has apologised to Norwich City's supporters after Sunday's loss to Wolves.

The Canaries were disappointing throughout the 3-0 loss at Molineux.

"It is extremely tough after this game, extremely tough because I think we can do much, much better," said the midfielder to the Evening News.

"Everything that happened from the 20th minute on, that's not us. That's a standard, individually, we should not have in this game.

"We had everything, from not really going in 100 percent for second balls, passes, work rate, it was not there.

"That is extremely, extremely, extremely disappointing from our point of view.

"That includes me. As I said to them in there, I'm extremely disappointed to be one of the senior members on the pitch and wanting to do more but not doing more is extremely disappointing.

"We just need to put our hands up and say we were not good enough. We've apologised to the away fans and we've got to get ourselves going again on Friday (at home to third-placed Leicester).

"What we did today, that's not good enough."
