Aleksandar Kolarov has signed a new deal with AS Roma.

The veteran defender, now 34, has penned terms to 2021.

"I want to thank the club for this contract extension, it means a great deal to me," Kolarov told the club's website. “Even now I see it as another starting point.

“I intend to keep on improving and developing in order to contribute to the growth of this club."

Roma chief Guido Fienga also said, “We are delighted to be able to announce this renewal.

“Aleksandar has always been the consummate professional, both on and off the pitch. With this renewal, we can continue to count on that contribution."
