Raul Albiol insists Cristiano Ronaldo's absence is no excuse for Real Madrid after their Champions League defeat to AC Milan.
The Spain defender admits Ronaldo could've helped last night, but maintains: "It is true that Cristiano is one of the best in the world and can change a game, but we cannot dwell on that.
"We have players who can do the same too. We cannot make excuses."
Sergio Ramos has promised Real fans they will get better.
He said: "We must continue to improve, be patient. We can play much better but we need time and calmness. We're calm because we know people will end up enjoying our football."
