Al-Ahli have tabled a bumper contract offer to AC Milan attacker Robinho.
Officials from the UAE club met with Robinho's agent over the weekend in Dubai to submit their proposal.
The offer more than meets Robinho's personal demands, but the sticking point is whether the Brazilian is willing to play in such a low standard competition.
MLS expansion club Orlando City remain in contact and haven't given up on convincing Robinho about a move to Florida.
