According to reports in Korea, the Dutch giants are hoping to beat Eredivisie rivals Utrecht and NAC Breda to the forward's signature.

Utrecht are understood to be holding talks with Shimizu S-Pulse officials, but the 25 year-old is unsure if a deal will materialise.

"I would like to go (to the Netherlands), but it would be a great opportunity to play in Europe," Cho told JOYNEWS.

"We are still in the negotiation process. I'm not certain what the outcome will be."
