Ajax midfielder Siem de Jong has revealed contact with Newcastle United.
De Jong has a year left on his contract.
He was quoted in Holland's Soccer News saying: "I really do not know what I'll do next season. I have spoken with the club but nothing is sorted.
"Also with Newcastle United, where my brother played last time, talked about other clubs and have had a little contact with my agent. There was contact before, but it's nothing concrete."
But De Jong said that he had plenty of admiration for United, adding: "Newcastle is a great club."
