Ajax are interested in Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite.

Sport says Ajax are keenly interested in the situation of Braithwaite. The team's coach, Alfred Schreuder, knows him well from when he was Ronald Koeman's second on FC Barcelona's bench.

After closing the signing of Brian Brobbey, he is now targeting the Danish striker as the next transfer. With this operation, Ajax aim to strengthen its attack that was depleted with the departure of Sebastien Haller to Borussia Dortmund.

Braithwaite, who has a contract with the Spanish club until June 2024, already knows that he is not a part of Xavi Hernàndez's plans for the season, and is on the lookout for a new destination. This deal, if it bears fruit, could very well be just what he is looking for.
