Ajax are digging in their heels over Newcastle United target Vurnon Anita.
The Evening Chronicle says Ajax have told the Magpies they don't intend to sell one of their star men at this stage of his career.
Anita was in Bert van Marwijk provisional squad for Euro 2012 but failed to make the final party.
