Ajax defender Joel Veltman was left furious after their Champions League thriller at Chelsea.
Veltman and Daley Blind were both sent off as Chelsea fought back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4.
“A typical English evening, yes. I have never experienced anything like this. Ultimately 4-4, how this came about, I have never experienced it," Veltman told Veronica.
“I just saw it again on my phone. I have my arm well alongside my body, I have been told by the referee that this is possible. Then it is also true that a penalty is enough, but there is also a yellow card. Well, that's just a shame."
He added: “We were hoping that we would at least have one point left. With nine men it becomes difficult, but they fought like lions. I'm certainly proud, of course. The group is open."
