Ajax chief Danny Blind believes Gregory van der Wiel will get his move to Valencia.

The Dutch fullback agreed terms with Valencia before Christmas, but a fee is yet to be struck.

Blind explained: "It is true that there is a difference between the amounts requested and what they have offered. But our first two meetings have been conducted in a friendly atmosphere."
