Ajax are being linked with a surprise move for Rangers defender Calvin Bassey.

The 22-year-old centre-half is one who could replace Lisandro Martinez at the Dutch club.

Ajax are close to selling Martinez to Manchester United for £46 million.

The Daily Mail claims that the interest in Bassey is very real, but Rangers are not eager to sell.
