Sergio Aguero was delighted with his goal scoring performance in Atletico Madrid's 2-1 Champions League victory over Olympique Marseille.

The young Argie was again outstanding and said at the final whistle: "The truth is that I am very happy and satisfied because I managed to score our first goal. Marseille played very well and all the games in the Champions League are complicated. But we've beaten a very difficult opponent.

"We dropped our pace in the second-half, but endured everything very well.

"For the whole team it was very important to win our first Champions League game at our home, at the Vicente Calderon, and now we must think about the next game."
