Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was at the top of his game once again as his side defeated Sunderland 4-1 on Wednesday night.
The Argentine ace netted in the 21st and 71st minutes to bookend City's four goals which all came after Connor Wickham's 19th-minute opener at the Stadium of Light.
After the match, Black Cats boss Gus Poyet spoke highly of another Aguero highlight reel while stating that his side were simply not good enough for Manuel Pellegrini's in-form City outfit.
"Sergio is unique and at this moment in time he is one of the top three on-form strikers. He has performed week in, week out whether it is against us or Bayern Munich and it shows," said Poyet.
"I can't have too many complaints - they were better than us in every aspect of the game. We started well and had a chance before we scored our goal, but then Aguero appears from nowhere and does something special."
The loss was Sunderland's first in five matches which saw them remain 14th on the league table with 14 points from as many outings.
