Daniel Agger has reportedly asked Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers to sell him.
The Mirror suggests that the Danish centre-back made an emotional dressing-room plea to the Reds boss during the Merseyside club's recent tour of the USA.
It is believed that Spanish giants Barcelona are hoping to sign Agger for around £12million and it appears as though the former Brondby defender is keen to make the move to the Nou Camp after struggling for regular first team selection under Rodgers.
Agger made just 23 appearances in all competitions last season and it seems as though his plight has been made much more difficult by Liverpool's £20million signing of Dejan Lovren from Southampton.
