Agent Furio Valcareggi has called on Brescia striker Mario Balotelli to retire.

Balotelli is facing a termination of his contract at Brescia.

“I would've signed Balotelli last season," Valcareggi told TMW Radio.

“However, at this point, it's obvious now that he has to stop playing football."

Valcareggi puts some of the blame on Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola.

“I think Raiola has to accept some of the responsibility, because he ought to help Balotelli to improve. Instead, he presents him as this great champion and then the results are embarrassing."
