Sunderland's out-of-favour midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini grabbed everyone's attention by scoring a superb goal in Italy's 2-0 win over Belgium in Euro2016 on Monday.
The 31-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bologna, is a target of several Italian clubs such as AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina.
However, according to the player's agent, Giulio Marinelli, the Black Cats are unable to raise their valuation of the player despite his Azzurri heroics and will have to sell him for around £1.5million.
"I think Sunderland cannot go beyond the figure of around 2 million euros," he told Tutto Mercato.
