The agent of Curtis Davies says the Hull City defender and Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross deserve England recognition.
Hull meet Stoke later tonight.
"Curtis and Ryan are probably the unluckiest centre-halves in the country," Phil Sproson told the Stoke Sentinel.
"Because they are both in outstanding form. To not include either of them in an England squad is ridiculous.
"Roy Hodgson has obviously got his favourites, but for these to be overlooked is a travesty.
"No disrespect to Steven Caulker, but he was called up recently and yet has been in a Cardiff team conceding goals all season.
"There definitely is a stigma attached to which club you play for.
"If you're at a club like Manchester United, even though they are now struggling, that doesn't seem to make any difference. Or if you used to play for a big club like Tottenham, as is the case with Caulker."
