The agent of Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi says his client will not be joining Liverpool this summer.
The 27-year old Italian has been heavily linked with the Reds in recent times but his representative Andrea Pastorello has played down the interest from the Anfield outfit.
"There is nothing to comment because there is nothing between Giuseppe Rossi and Liverpool," he told Tuttomercatoweb.
"This is something that comes from the English sites but I don't know anything about it. Besides, there are good relations with Liverpool, so they would have called me if they wanted Rossi.
"But, seriously, we're talking about something that does not exist."
Rossi, who has a release clause of £28million, had reportedly emerged as a target for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers after he lost Luis Suarez to Barcelona earlier in the summer.
Former Villarreal star Rossi netted 16 goals in 22 Serie A outings for La Viola last season and looks set to remain in Florence for the foreseeable future.
