Julio Baptista is determined to make a big splash for Roma in this week's derby against Lazio, says his agent.

"If Luciano Spalletti gives him the chance to play, I'm sure he will have a great game," Herminio Menendez told Romagiallorossa.com.

"He doesn't have any physical problems at the moment and he is raring to go.

"Julio knows well what it means to play in a derby here in Rome and he wants to make an important contribution.

"He is the kind of player who never fails in these big matches. Baptista excelled when he played for Sao Paulo against Corinthians, Arsenal against Chelsea and Real Madrid against Barcelona."
