The agent of Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has sensationally revealed they're in talks with Roma. "At the moment there isn't a real negotiation process, but Roma have shown an interest," explained agent Jose Alberti to Romagiallorossa.com.
"Both Bayern and Luca are kept informed and we are waiting for a response from the German club.
"Toni is very eager for a return to Italy, especially as he played in the 2006 World Cup alongside [Francesco] Totti."
The former Palermo and Fiorentina hitman had a good first season in Munich, but has recently struggled to find form.
"He wants to prove wrong those in Germany who did not believe in him," continued representative Alberti.
"I'm not saying he was treated badly, but many did not believe in his quality. Let us not forget he was Capocannoniere in Serie A, while he had a difficult time in Munich."
