The agent of Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rafael Veloso has revealed the interest of major Premier League clubs.

The youngster is regarded among Europe's best keepers for his age and is inside the final 12 months of his existing deal.

Veloso's agent, Jose Afonso , says if no new deal is agreed with Sporting, he can leave for a knockdown compo fee of €230,000.

He told tribalfootball.com: "It is true that we have had contacts with businessmen and representatives pertaining to sports associations in these countries, but so far there has been no agreement with any of them.

"... they are from Spain: Barcelona, Villarreal, Deportivo La Coruna and Atletico Madrid.

"In England, Everton, Liverpool, Queens Park Rangers, West Bromwich Albion, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City.

"For Italy: Palermo, Inter, Juventus and Udinese."
