The agent of Geoffrey Kondogbia admits Juventus came close to signing the AS Monaco midfielder.
The youngster left Sevilla last summer for ASM.
Oscar Damiani told Tuttosport: "Two years Juve had Kondogbia in their hands.
"But right at the end, they decided not to pay the 3m it would have taken to get him from Lens.
"Soon after that Sevilla came in. And then 12 months later, the Andalusian club sold him to Monaco for 16m."
