Senior Italian agent Dario Canovi has rapped Lazio for complaining over Manchester City's raid Vlad Marin.

The top Romanian prospect is signing for City after coming through the youth system at Lazio.

Canovi told TMW: "Lazio should do something more intelligent, or wonder why young players leave. This does not happen to teams like Inter and Milan.

"Lazio should believe in their young players and not worry about the corporate balance sheets. We're talking about a couple of thousand dollars. Lazio are a good club for young players, but should be doing more to keep them."
