The agent and brother of AC Milan midfielder Ronaldinho has played down talk of a move to Flamengo.

Ronie is becoming a pawn in the presidential election at Flamengo with claims he could return to Brazil at the end of the European season.

In reaction last night, Roberto de Assis said: "I can say is that he has a contract with Milan until 2011 and I cannot go further that that, to do so would be embarrassing.

"Flamengo is a wonderful club, but it dies there. I cannot say more than that ..."
