Agent Federico Pastorello states Stefan de Vrij wishes to stay with Inter Milan.

Pastorello says the defender will enter new contract talks after the Champions League final.

He told TMW: "His contract is about to expire. There are ongoing negotiations with Inter but as there is still the Champions League final to play, the players are concentrated on that. Talks have been postponed until after the final in Istanbul on 10 June.

"I expect the Italian clubs to have fortunately unexpected resources. We have good competitiveness compared to foreign clubs.

"Serie A is seen as an interesting league to come and try out, it's a country where people live very well and today Italy, after the Premier it is the championship where many players want to come."
