The agent of Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has denied claims of talks with Galatasaray.

It's been suggested Gundogan is in contact with Gala after failing to settle in Barca since his arrival from Manchester City.

But agent Ilhan Gundogan has denied reports of meeting with Gala directors: "The news that appeared in the press these days about Ilkay does not reflect the truth.

"I did not meet with anyone from Galatasaray before the Bayern Munich match to talk about Ilkay. There was no development, meeting nor anything that reached us in this regard. I want to make this clear.

"Neither I nor Ilkay can understand how this news came about. Ilkay is very happy in Barcelona and is focused on what he wants to achieve there and on his goals."
