The agent and brother of Mauro Zarate has moved to cool talk of a transfer away from Lazio. Contract threats earlier this week sparked rumours linking Zarate with Arsenal and Manchester City.

"It's normal that there are clubs all over the world interested in Mauro," Sergio Zarate explained. "But no one has ever contacted me up to now.

"Even if there were offers, my brother wouldn't move because he is too attached to the Lazio fans."
