The agent of Edinson Cavani has dismissed claims from Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini that major European clubs have been in contact.

Wolfsburg, Manchester United and Manchester City were all mentioned by Zamparini over the weekend.

But Claudio Anellucci insists: "For now, Cavani is certainly committed to Palermo. He has a long contract and we have just renewed.

"The president did not mention anyone to us. The interest of big European clubs I've read only in the newspapers. We are in the transfer window, when the time comes we will sit down with the club and we will consider every option.

"The boy is now focused on the World Cup, the rest is fantamercato."
