The agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi says the attacking midfielder will remain with Napoli.

The Argentina international has been linked with Manchester City and Inter Milan during this summer's transfer window.

But Alejandro Mazzoni, in Milan for transfer deadline day, said: "He wants to stay, wants to improve and score even more goals. Even if we do not forget he is the player who made the most assists in Italy.

"From City, no proposal ever came, as well as Inter. Even when he spoke about these reports, he never thought to leave Napoli."
