The agent of Emanuele Giaccherini says he will stay with Sunderland.

The injury-plagued midfielder has been linked with a return to Italy.

But Furio Valcareggi told TMW: "He will remain at Sunderland.

"The team is saved and now that he has recovered from his injury, he is not excluded from the squad.

"Even (Italy coach) Antonio Conte remembers him."
