The agent of Michael Essien insists he's staying with AC Milan.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been linked with a MLS move.

"Will Michael leave Milan in January? No, he'll stay," Fabien Piveteau assured MilanNews.

"Essien will stay at Milan until June. Many teams like him, and he's had some contact with other clubs, but he's signed a contract with Milan and he wants to stay with the Rossoneri until June."
