Italian agent Nicola Giuliani has defended Inter Milan's deal for Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski.
Giuliani helped bring the German to Inter in January.
"It was a very straightforward negotiation, there was consensus and the will of all," he told gianlucadimarzio.com.
"It was not advertised ahead of time but was always going the right way, in all seriousness. Lukas had a profile that interested many: with the fact that he did not play at Arsenal you could loan him.
"If he had scored on his debut, we'd be talking about another kind of impact in our league.
"Who wanted him? It was an idea shared by all at Inter. They went for players who had the opportunity to leave their club on loan, in view of the difficulties with FFP."
