The agent of Adrian Mutu has cooled talk of a move to Fenerbahce for the banned Fiorentina striker.

The former Chelsea forward has also been linked with Galatasaray after he was slapped with a nine-month ban for failing a drugs test.

His agent, Giovanni Becali, said: "Fenerbahce have never asked for Mutu. I do not know what Fiorentina wants to do with him. I know that he will not play before January and that the price of his transfer is not high."
