The agent of former Newcastle United fullback Davide Santon has confirmed a permanent deal with Inter Milan.

Santon has signed for Inter for around €3 million.

"Let's say that Inter's purchase is now official," said agent Renzo Contratto.

"It was an ideal return to Milan and we are satisfied. It's a shame that it does not correspond to the team's results.

"He played 100 games in the Premier League, the top championship in the world, so it's normal that he developed. And he can develop even further."
